You've done pretty well but to remember people who don't write as often as you and Russ can be difficult, especially for us old fogeys. So I still wish those of the less frequent ccontributors woul be more careful to let us know WHERE they are growing their babies.        JOAN COOPER    in a cold zone though not a cold as you I guess like 4.

Your low is our high here, Chuck.  We have at least 1 1/2 feet of snow in my area.

I'm in Guelph Ontario, southern Ontario. With super cold  weather , and often  little snow cover, and lots of freeze/thaws, and high seedling loss.

A few nights of -16C (about 0F) and currently about 3" of snow cover.

Both of these are great, Chuck. I immediately think of the word, pinwheel, when I look at the versicolor seedling, and the white pseudacorous is really quite beautiful.
