It's from the winter rainfall area of SA and probably can't take any frost. I was lucky and was given a couple small corms so have not tried it from seed yet. There have been so many flowers it may be a good house plant in cold areas. At least it does not take up much room. This is the first year for me to grow any Lapeirousia. Needs an easy 'common' name.
