Iris virginica

     I have some Iris virginica in large tubs that I am sinking into the ground in another spot.  Today, I got two of them sunk and there are six more to go.

      They are extremely heavy to drag to the spot.  I know I could lift the plants and then take the soil in multiple trips.  While I know the plants would survive, would that mess up bloom for this spring?  The tubs need to be moved.
