Anita,

I can't speak to the bulbous irises but the bog/ water irises want sun just like the bearded ones. The possible exception my be I. nelsonii which is found in fairly shady conditions.

1. can any or all bulb irises be planted in atleast partial shade areas

2. can all bog irises be in partial to full shade
