Iris are pretty resistant to roundup. Not sure re pseudocorus but there are many bearded iris I havn't been able to kill with heavy dosages of  roundup.  I have tried (as have other growers) to clear an old planting field of unwanted iris plants with roundup (heavy dosages) only to find everything killed except the iris plants.
