Roundup does NOT work on I. pseudacorus. Digging and deadheading do. I would
suggest offering a "dig it yourself" sale to people putting in koi ponds. I
recently saw it for sale at one of the local nurseries for $14.95 per pot.
;-)

The best way to grow I. pseudacorus or any of the water-lovers is in a
contained area rather than connected waterways. As Dennis so aptly
illustrated, even I. ensata has the potential for establishing itself in the
wild.
