I think we have a bunch of lurkers on the list or something, Jim.  I've 
been oohing and ahhing over your photo since you posted it a couple days 
ago but nobody else has jumped in yet, so I guess I'll be the first.

That is simply gorgeous!  The style arms on that thing rival tridentata for 
showiness, IMHO.  I can't believe you are able to grow this species in 
Missouri.  Do you have it outdoors?  Is it against your house?  I'm really 
glad you were lucky enough to catch it in bloom.  Several times I've missed 
things bloom their first year and it just kills me when that happens.

Congrats!  You must be a proud papa.  :-)
