Title: Re: [iris-species] Rain Forest
The pseudacorus and versicolors are enjoying our rain forest weather tremendously, but getting a chance to look over the progress is difficult. I know I'm going to have to weed out some pseudacs before they are through blooming. I have found I. graminea in bloom, and a plant labeled I. spuria danica that turned out to be a lovely white Siberian (????) and a couple of setosas including a lovely white. Maybe some day it will quit raining and I can even get a few pictures. We must have broken many records. Rain does little more than drip, but almost constant. Joan Cooper in Misty Minnesota
It rained for several days here too, but not quite to rain forest
standards. Still, it was helpful in getting some transplants
established, etc. The cooler weather & overcast skies are
good for that, unfortunately they ruin any chances of getting good
photos in the garden.
