The iris season is slowing down here. The spurias are past peak and
the late LA's are finishing. Here is a nice I. brevicaulis I received
from the late Bob Ward of Little Rock. Blooming next to it was a
really fine hot pink brevicaulis I also got from Bob. Never managed
to find time for a pic tho. He gave me many collected iris shortly
before he passed away. Just now getting to see some of the fab stuff
he sent my way. I don't know where they were collected but I think he
said they were all from Arkansas. I didn't know they were going to be
so special, now I need to take better care of them.
