Hi Polly! I've successfully stored iris pollen for a year in the
freezer. I kept it in those old-fashioned 35mm film canisters. I've
stored pollen for bearded irises, arilbreds, and Louisianas. I haven't
tried it with JI pollen, but I expect it would work just fine.

I plan to freeze some Iris tridentata pollen this week to apply it to
Iris fulva and Iris prismatica next year.
