SV: I. tenuifolia was A lovely rock garden iris

Hi Yuri

I know it. Some of the species I have got from botanical gardens are wrong named – it fact it is very common. From my Kitchen window am I looking on a specie there is named ruthenica (in flower for the first time right now), but it looks more like a I. sibirica form (I will take a photo of it when it stops raining tomorrow.

Than k you for sharing your fine pictures. I have a few more there has been taken the last week, I just have to make them smaller.

Med venlig hilsen / Kind regards

Hi Lars,

Your iris has nothing common with Iris tenuifolia.

Iris tenuifolia from Europe and Kazakhstan can be seen here: http://www.plantarium.ru/page/view/item/20835.html
