That's sure a beauty too, Ellen.  Almost looks like one a lady brought to show us yesterday, after all the judging was done.  Too bad, as it would have won a 1st ribbon.

This is a little Spuria species -Iris graminea- in my garden in 2007....it is a faithful and long-lasting interesting Spuria species. Does well in cold and damp New England. It bloom down in the stupendous foliage and is very fragrant....and does well cut to get the full effect.

This beauty was bloomng when I got home today.  It was given to me by a friend who says it's the first iris she saw as a child, growing around her Mother's and aunt's country places for well over 50 yrs.  That's about 60 or so miles west of here.
 
Does it look like a species spuria?
