Carol: Iris kerneriana is really very rare in the USA. It is a dwarf spuria but has never been used by hybridizers to produce the dwarf spuria many of us would like to see. I remember talking to Dave Niswonger about it and he would very much like to use it in hybridizing but has never successfully had plants to work with. Very nice...do you have a height on this one. I will go through my spuria species file of photos and see what I have. I reminds me of a spuria I started from Signa Seed 03M118 (RMR) listed as I. kerneriana great plant from 99M173).
