Hi Chuck, I did post a picture yesterday â I will do it again. Main is not going into flower this year (I expect), last year did I transplant 50m3 garden Â- after the ground was filled with grit and sand (it was so heavy that all the lilies there was planted in it died. The difference for me is that the flower is sky-blue. Med venlig hilsen / Kind regards Lars HÃpfner Langengen 38, Svogerslev 4000Â Roskilde Denmark Fra:

had noted that as well, thus the question if danica is recognized as a distinct
subspecies. -----Original Message-----
Dykes classified danica as a variety of Iris spuria. As part of a
lengthy discussion about the difficulty of separating European Spurias, he
notes that "[Iris spuria var danica] seems very nearly allied to, if
not actually identical with, the Algerian form". Kohlein also refers
to it as Iris spuria var danica. Mathew is more specific, calling it Iris
spuria ssp. spuria var danica, where ssp. spuria refers to a group of Spurias
native to central Europe.
