Iris chrysographes

For a long time I've been fascinated by Iris chrysographes, particularly
the "black" forms. Since at least the late 1990's I've been buying and
killing them every few years. In 2008 I bought some seeds from Jilitto
and obtained a bloom this year. I'm attaching a photo. Sometimes
obsession pays off.
