Trimezia martinicensis grows in southern Florida. (T. meridensis is a synonym.)
According to Goldblatt & Manning -- The Iris Family, the tribe Trimeziae includes three closely related, but distinct genera: Neomarica, Pseudotrimezia and Trimezia.
Ravenna included Neomarica in Trimezia (not the other way around) but that has not been generally accepted.
Kew lists both N. longifolia and T. martinicensis as accepted names, so I presume they are different plants.

Is this flower Trimezia or has it been reclassified? The photo was taken yesterday.
