My problem with long-term projects is that new possibilities are always arising and supposedly ongoing ones are being neglected, but it is a good idea.

I know from past experience that with saving seed and selecting over generations, I will wind up with plants that are better suited to my environment. (The most recent are hot peppers that will germinate in cold soil). Are you considering this?
