Re: pink I. prismatica

All the prismaticas I've seen have narrow petals. I'm attaching 4 photos of various prismaticas.

The strong yellow line for a signal makes me think of a Japanese iris. There is a leaf in the photo has a distinct ridge in the center. The Japanese iris is one of a number of iris has that characteristic. Japanese iris do sometimes come in nice pinks and are often bred with reduced standards. I'm attaching a photo of Springtime Melody as an example of a pink Japanese iris.

Let's hope it is a prismatica as the label faed away. I went thru my puchases and seeds I had sown and this was the oinly pink species i could locate in my records To me the flower on the right has much better form, no having the strappy falls.
