Thanks Kathleen! There's nothing to say this isn't a hybrid. The plants weren't well labeled in either of the gardens we visited and I couldn't fine any information on the Washington Park web site.

Here's a picture of the Wild Survivor seedling in my garden, from seed donated to SPCNI by Will a couple of years ago.
