Re: purple & pink go so well together!

Thanks everyone!  My plants are in full sun almost all day long (from approx 11am until sunset).  And before 11am they get dappled sunlight through a row of pine trees.  Bog-loving plants typically do best in full sun.

Irises with orchids and venus flytraps....  I never imagined that would work in my climate... and blooming synchronously?  What a bonus!

I'm applying PCN pollen to the tridentata.  I tried PCN pollen last year on prismatica, fulva, versicolor, and other beardless species without success.  This year I saved the pollen for tridentata, and I should have plenty of flowers to play with.  Yay!

Dennis,

way cool!  I've been planning a bog garden and this helps me a lot.  I want to keep mainly orchids, but I. tridentata would be most welcome.  How many hours of sun per day do you find necessary?

Inspiring!
