Hi Diane:

                When I started at RR in 1976, that area was all turf.  In the late eighties/early nineties, we removed the turf to create a wetland garden there as the turf was almost unmanageable due to excess water.  That particular iris is Iris pseudacorus x chrysographes ‘Holden Clough’.  It was purchased from Parkside Gardens in 2002.
