Misidentified plants & seeds are what spawned the creation of the species database on the SIGNA website. It was so frustrating for me to grow Iris missouriensis only to have it bloom as a Siberian.... or whatever. Now that I've got 15 yrs experience raising irises from seed I have a better idea of what's what... but I still get surprises sometimes.

Speaking of which... I need to get outside and make some more crosses. :-)
