Dennis, This looks like a stink bug, if it has a thick finger like mouthpart it is a predator, otherwise it sucks plants. Some predators ocassionally drink plant sap, usually when run out of other bugs to suck on.BTW I have found some Curculionidae on my iris, but i just smash them with my fingers Janos |
