 Neomarica 'Regina' and Neomarica fluminensis gets so large it will outgrow the tubs I have them in. But, both are freeze tender. Â However, I wonder if I could remove them from the tubs, divide them, and grow them directly in the ground, but... ...in the winter, cover them to protect them from freeze. Would that work? Would they grow okay in sandy soil?
