Re:Iris brevicaulis Ontario

Did a wild iris trip yesterday. Found what may be brevicaulis. It
wasn't in bloom but had very corrugated leaves and louisiana type
roots. In location were it was originally discovered in Ontario.

Is the corrugated leaves a feature of brevicaulis?

Also saw virginica, versicolour and possibly a robusta in bloom.
Found another , possible new location of brevicaulis, if the leaves
and rhizomes can be counted on.
