Thanks!!  Will check cathalinae and notha, though these leaves are quite upright.

definitely a spuria. Not my strong point, but may be cathalinae, notha
(normally has less upright leaves, even overhanging) or even sogdiana.
Of course, it could be a primitive hybrid.
