Sorry, Sean, I didn't see you'd already posted the AIS link.  I got my I. murrayana from Will in 2011.  It started blooming last year.  Both years, it's bloomed about 2 weeks after my local versicolor and about a week after Cast Ashore and Gerald Darby.

The exact nature of 'Murrayana' is not yet resolved, but it appears to be an aneuploid versicolor or perhaps a hybrid with virginica. The chromosome number is 2n=80, instead of 108 as with versicolor. White versicolor is hard to achieve genetically because the species is essentially hexaploid, with three sets of chromosomes for pigment (and everything else) instead of one.
