Sometimes we pompous erudite pedants just can?t restrain ourselves, The Victorian name for lists of bloom-times for plants is a phenology. Now as a good troglodyte I will crawl back into my cave.

Iris albican opened the first bloom here March 17 in a shaded garden location.

PS: The person suggesting the project was probably Pries. He has a penchant for big long words and the list had a name so alien I can't remember it and am unable to search the archives. <laughin'>
