Turkey is cold and wet in the winter and hot and dry in the summer. Hope
that helps. I grow Regelias and other Arils from Turkey and they can take
alot of moisture in the fall, winter and spring, but they don't like hot
humid weather in the summer. It leads to rot.
The reading I've done on I. taochia says good drainage and lots of sun. I'd
grow it in a sunny rock garden after the seedlings get older. I usually hold
mine in pots for a year at least.
Cindy
