I do have a microscope. I do have albicans. Given time, proper supplies, and some needed education, I will count them at some point. I've never done this before.

Prior to attempting the counting process, I hope to purchase or construct an apparatus to attach my present camera to the microscope and perform the counts from the resulting photographs. At this point I do not even know if the lens focal length of my present camera will allow this to be done. Pressed for time otherwise now like everyone else. I'm Always slow to get cranked here. My wife says a procrastinator while kinder people say nonchalant. Me? Pure lazy. No! Poor and pure lazy while trying to absorb too much by osmosis!

For now, how many counts yielding the same number of chromosomes would be considered reasonable to insure accuracy?

Should healthy root tips collected/examined any time of the year produce countable chromosomes?

Any help/advice/speculation appreciated.

Smiles,
Bill Burleson
