Re: Spring is here?

All of Ohio broke records for the snowiest February. My driveway snow plower can't find anyplace to push any more snow. The pile at the end of my driveway is higher than my head and my cars are not able to get out. It is supposed to hit 50 degrees soon, but it will take a long time before we can see any ground under the snow. Don't expect to see any crocuses or anything else any time soon.

Well, kinda sorta. The first warmish sunny day in months arrived today.

Three species of crocus opened at least one flower. Total of around 50 flowers.
Iris reticulata is jumping out of the ground and should begin flowering early next
week. At least a couple Juno iris are up, but only about an inch. So, is it spring yet?
