I. sibirica X I. pseudacorus

Hi All,

I just read Carol Wilson's 2004 paper "Phylogeny of Iris based on chloroplast matK gene and trnK intron sequence data"  from Molecular Phytogentics and Evolution Vol 33, Issue 2. (You can find the article at ScienceDirect.com.) Her results show that I. sibirica and I. pseudacorus are closely related. Has any one heard of this cross being tried? If not, someone should. I can't seem to grow I. sibirica so it's up to someone else.
