     That is what I was afraid of.  When I lived in Lexington, KY, I planted some Tulips.  One variety, I donât recall the name, persisted unlike most Tulips.  The flower was quite pretty, but it had one big flaw.  It smelled like a skunk when touched.  For some time, I tolerated it because for its early color. 
     Then, one day a young girl who sniffed flowers got to the Tulips before I could warn her.  Poor thing.  That did it for those Tulips.
