steppe irises

I found several nice iris photos from the Dauria International Protected Area at the Russia/China/Mongolia border. According to Google translation, seven species occur there. http://www.dauriareserve.narod.ru/arhiv_news_2010.html (scroll down until you see irises, click to enlarge)
Photos include Iris tenuifolia (Tenuifoliae), I. ivanovae (Pseudoregelia?) and mass-flowering I. potaninii (Psammiris). I'm particularly intrigued by the last photo, though. It appears to be misidentified, as I. uniflora is related to or synonymous with I. ruthenica, and should not have a crest or beard. The pictured flower seems to have both, and reminds me of pallida-tectorum crosses. Is that typical of any pseudoregelias?
