Hi, I just joined this group a couple of days ago.  I live in Temple, 
Texas and have been growing irises for about a year after attending 
an iris show with a friend from the African Violet Group that we both 
belong to.    I really liked the show and started me a small iris 
garden in my back yard. I now have 17 different ones.  I have always 
enjoyed the species African violets and thought I would see what I 
could find about the species Irises.  I have a spot that I can plant 
5 or 6 if I can find them.  Where can you find species Iris?  Any 
good online sites?  I look forward to learning about them and 
eventually acquiring a few.
