Iris brevicaulis (#1 of 9)

I went back to Richardson today but could not find any irises. I decided
to visit Shaker Trace Nursery which is operated by Hamilton County Parks
District and specializes in propagating locally obtained plant material. I
took lots of photos of their irises. They're not officially "wild" I
guess, but they are local genotype. They also gave me directions to where
I can find them growing wild in Richardson. I plan to go back
tomorrow. Hopefully I'll get some pictures for Bob Pries' book!

Meanwhile, enjoy the next dozen or so photos of Iris brevicaulis and Iris
versicolor. All of these are from Shaker Trace.
