one of the streams....After further observation I concluded that it was probably Iris pseudacorus...there was a pronounced mid-rib the length of each leaf."--Dennis in Cincinnati *Iris pseudacorus* does have the ensata-type midrib on the foliage, at
least it does on the clone I have. It also has rhizomes such as you
describe.
