Re: tectorum


Will,

It certainly has all the normal characteristics of I.tectorum, except color 
and intensity of markings.  I have never seen one of such deep color and 
prominent "etchings" as this.  Whatever....it is a keeper; a beautiful 
flower!

What little experience I have had growing I.tectorum, there does seem to be 
quite a bit of variation in it's habit, so it could be natural (my guess) 
but if so......WOW!
