RE: Iris perrieri ?

This one was bad, even though the temp said 0C (32F), it was more like -3C (26.6F).  There was no visible frost on anything though, even at 7am, so I figured it had missed us.  Some bloomstalks keeled over a few hours later, but started to straighten up in the afternoon.  It was interesting to see that not every iris was affected though.  Just the ones I wanted to take pictures of; ain't that just the way!

I never really notice any iris fragrance at this time of year, probably because the chokecherries are blooming.

I'm hoping the few pix I took of my possible I perrieri turn out.  My husband has to get them off my card as my system can't/won't do it when I have too many apps loaded.

El,
Another freeze?   That photo of Iris pumila Atroviolacea was nice.  Fragrance...
