Yes Dennis I have lost a few over the years and it was only last season that I put a ribbon on them. They were ones that Adam F. adjusted.

It was a lovely day today in Cincinnati with temps hitting the mid 80's, so of course there were new iris flowers to pollinate. By the time I got to my 3rd flower I had LOST my tweezers!!! I was *furious* with myself for being absent minded and losing track. Nor did it help that I kept finding ticks on me every few minutes. (And now I didn't have tweezers to pick them off!) Losing your only tweezers: a hybridizers nightmare. LOLLuckily this story has a happy ending. It took me 30 minutes to track them down & I promptly attached an 18" long bright red ribbon to them. |
