Thank you! I was hoping for diploid, but you make a good point that those faded out of favor 80 years ago. I just tried to cross it with Iris tectorum alba. :-)

Bloom season is ramping up big time in SW Ohio... tall beardeds are starting to open... species like tectorum are starting to open... and one of my favorites, Satan's Mistress, is going to put on the biggest bloom display I've ever seen. My tweezers are going to be busy this month!!!

question:Â does anyone know if the historic TB "Corsage" is diploid?
