Stitch Witchery

 

I want to cross my Cal-Sib, Stitch Witchery, with other stuff. Apparently Cal-Sibs have a chromosome count of 2n=40. Louisianas are 2n=42. Virginicas are 2n=70, 72. Tridentata is 2n=40. Versicolor is 2n=108, etc.

At the risk of asking the obvious.... what should I try? Seems like tridentata is the way to go.

Yeah so now I'm sitting here wondering why aren't there any PCN x tridentata hybrids out there? Anybody have PCN pollen they want to send me!? :-)

I made my 152nd cross of the season tonight (Iris virginica pollen onto Stitch Witchery pod). :-) And there is still at least 5 weeks left of bloom season. :-D
