Re: I. Setosa

I've heard of setosa plants surviving in warm climates, but never have
heard of them living in ponds. I grow all of mine in regular garden
conditions. I've been growing them for about 15 years. I've always
gotten great germination and the seedlings have all grown well in
regular garden conditions.

Your problems may not be the temperature but the fact that you have
them in water.

In native areas setosa may grow in areas that are damp at times, I
haven't heard of them living in ponds.

Has anyone else had experiences with setosa growing in ponds?
