I have grown I. setosa in undrained oak barrels where they experience
some winter flooding. We get our rain in the winter so the barrels are
not flooded during other seasons but often have wet stagnant soil at the
bottom. I've also grown them in much smaller containers with normal
watering. I. setosa is not fond of drought, but is pretty forgiving.
