To what purpose?

Obviously one can present a persuasive case that the advanced JI are but clones of a single Iris species, and so may be considered such for classification, judging, and Awards purposes, by why would one do it? All one would accomplish, it seems to me, is to position one's introduction so as to ensure it would be in a category in which it would be least likely to receive favorable notice, and deny it inclusion in one in which it would receive the informed consideration of those who most favor its kind. If one was working with very simple ensata clones, three fall types-- whether of most recent or ancient origination-- then the opposite case might be true.

At some point you have to trust that people will work to their own enlightened self-interest and use the system in a way which best makes sense for all. No one who seeks to exploit a perceived loophole or logical weakness for cheesy personal advantge is likely to do so unnoticed, or be rewarded for it.
