Shaub, the link to the article didnât work From: iris-species@yahoogroups.com [mailto:iris-species@yahoogroups.com] Many bearded iris will grow in zone 9, if it is a Mediterranean climate. I beleive the problem is the combination of summer heat with humidity that does them in.
