Neomaricas are tropical jungle plants.  I don't know what triggers their blooming, but in the tropics, I don't expect there is a great difference in day length season to season.  Being forest plants, they can accept a fair amount of shade.  What they need is a fairly uniform warm, somewhat moist environment.  Mine are OK with cold wet S.F. Peninsula winters, but don't start new growth until late spring when it is consistently warm and they get a few hours of direct sunlight every day.  Scapes may appear as early May, and bloom can last well into August.

I assume that would be coldest. And warmer during warm periods. Can't
see any problem with that. May need day length signals for blooming. So
in a room with lights may be a problem with blooming.
