 When I lived in Kentucky and overwintered Neomarica candida in the living room, that room was lit until 10:30 - 11:00 PM most nights. The Neomarica still flowered in the late winter or early spring. The room was heated to 67 F night/74 F day. When the sun would shine through the window, it would be exposed to warmer readings.
