Hello Edmundas; I am zone 6 to 5, which means we get winters with a low of -10 degrees Fahrenheit(-23 degrees Celsius). Tectorum has no problem with our winters. Confusa either dies, or is so severely damaged it is kept as a pot plant. Confusa can tolerate a moderate zone 7 (about-15 degrees Celsius) but will die back to below ground, (somewhat risky). If you want to maintain it in growth through the winter I would suggest not lower than 40 degress Fahrenheit(about 5 degrees Celsius). Confusa will often start to bloom in February when grown under fluorescent lights in my basement, even though it gets pretty cool but never freezing. Japonica seems similar to Confusa in its requirements but has never bloomed for me indoors. Hope that is of some help, Bob.
