Jim,
this may be a form of I. spuria itself.  It is a species complex and there are many named forms as well as possible hybrids.  Perhaps someone else can be more specific.

Hello,

This is one of the species  irises I have grown from seed from the British Iris Society a number of years ago and of course by now I have lost the labels and wondered if anyone would kindly identify this iris for me.  I am fairly certain it is a spuria iris, but beyond that I am only guessing.

I will be posting a few others as well for identification and any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

Also, can anyone suggest a good book on spuria irises?
